Erick Osvaldo Muñoz Pérez

Erick Osvaldo Muñoz Pérez is an associate at Maillard Abogados Laborales, where he leads the strategy and supervision of labor proceedings before Labor Courts and Conciliation and Arbitration Boards across Mexico City and various states throughout the country. His practice focuses on the representation and defense of companies in complex labor disputes, coordinating matters from the pre-litigation stage through direct and indirect constitutional appeals (amparo), as well as the filing and follow-up of the remedies provided under applicable legislation.

He has extensive experience handling strategic labor litigation, coordinating correspondent counsel, and overseeing high-impact matters, standing out for his legal analysis, procedural strategy, and effective management of labor contingencies. His professional experience has allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of labor litigation and corporate defense in highly technical and evolving environments.

Erick holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Diploma in Oral Litigation from the Facultad de Estudios Superiores Aragón of UNAM. He has also strengthened his professional background through specialized programs, including the Introduction to NOM-035-STPS-2018 course and the “Juicio de Amparo 2021” Diploma Program delivered by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.

Prior to joining Maillard Abogados Laborales, he was part of Solución Legal México, where he gained experience in civil, commercial, family, and labor litigation. He also completed his social service at the Office of the Attorney General of Mexico, supporting activities related to criminal investigation files and assisting Federal Public Prosecutors.

He is a member of the Latin American Institute of Labor Law.
