Leopoldo Ballesteros Reyes is a coordinator at Maillard Abogados Laborales, where he focuses on strategic labor litigation and the representation of companies before labor authorities across Mexico City and various states throughout the country. He has built a solid career handling and supervising complex labor disputes, actively participating in the development of defense strategies and the coordination of high impact matters for the Firm.
His practice focuses on the comprehensive management of individual and collective labor disputes before Labor Courts, Local and Federal Conciliation and Arbitration Boards, as well as conciliation proceedings before Conciliation Centers. He has extensive experience in the drafting and supervision of claims, responses, evidentiary proceedings, direct and indirect constitutional appeals (amparo), and the analysis of case law, judicial precedents, and legal criteria essential to the development of effective litigation strategies.
Leopoldo is also recognized for his experience supervising and coordinating legal teams, ensuring the proper procedural management of matters under his responsibility and the implementation of strategies aimed at mitigating labor risks and contingencies for the companies.
He holds a Law Degree in Bureaucratic Law from the Instituto Nacional de Estudios Sindicales y de Administración Pública de la Federación de Sindicatos de Trabajadores al Servicio del Estado and a master’s degree in labor Procedural Law from the Centro de Estudios de Posgrado. In addition, he has completed several specialized programs and diplomas in leadership and executive development, pensions and social security, as well as legal updates related to new economies and evolving regulatory frameworks.
Prior to joining Maillard Abogados Laborales, he worked at Salvador Martín del Campo López Law Firm, where he strengthened his experience in labor litigation, drafting employment agreements, and appearing before federal and local labor authorities.
